Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed mainly of the mineral calcite, which is a crystalline form of Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3). Limestone often contains variable amounts of silica in the form of Jasper or Flint, as well as amounts of clay, silt, and sand as dissemination, nodules, or layers within the rock unit.

Limestones have been working for thousands of years — initially for building stone and agricultural lime and more recently for a wide range of construction and industrial uses.

Why is vanak limestone so good?
Limestones and sandstones are very simple stones to maintain as they do not require any specific care for cleaning them. Widely used in outdoor applications, they tend to have good resistance to damp and weather incumbencies.
Many people don’t know it, but limestone is actually one of the most durable of all natural building materials. Limestone is exceptionally weather-resistant and while it does naturally corrode over time, the corrosion is superficial and won’t impact the structural integrity of the structure.

Limestone is a valuable building material, used to make useful building materials, however, limestone reacts with acid rain and wears away over time, meaning buildings will have to be well maintained

Limestone is generally less expensive to purchase and install than other natural stones like marble and granite. It is an excellent option for someone who wants the sleek look and feel of natural stone but is on a limited budget.
